Alyssa Lahoda is IIMIF's 2020 intern. She is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College and received degrees in violin performance, music theory, and music business. After exploring music performance anxiety and musicians' physical wellness for the past 4 years, she has developed a passion for the health and wellness of musicians. She has led several workshops within LVC's music department, as well as created a class and a proposal for a concentration within the BA Music program, which is currently being processed/considered.
Though Alyssa is a violinist, she also plays viola and cello in chamber ensembles, and teaches private lessons for all 3 instruments.
Alyssa plans to obtain a master's degree in violin performance and ultimately achieve her dream of performing in a professional symphony orchestra and traveling the world.
